Speaker: Shaun Treweek
This is an opening talk at the U-CARE (https://www.u-care.uu.se/about-u-care/) 2023 meeting in Uppsala, Sweden. U-CARE is a strategic research programme, which is funded by the Swedish Government in 2010. The group conducts research within mental health, eHealth, and global health and the research examines the short- and long-term psychological consequences of somatic illness for persons living with the illness and their close ones. U-CARE also carries out research to develop, test, evaluate, and implement digital tools and psychological interventions to support people living with somatic illness and their close ones. This research is done both in Sweden and globally.
The theme of the 2023 meeting is ‘Improving Value and Reducing Waste in Research’.
