How to make your trial more efficient and informative

Randomised trials are important, but not all are efficient. Some trials include design choices that make the whole trial less informative than it could have been. Potentially, the whole trial could becomes an example of research waste. Other trials may include design choices that become a millstone for the trial, making it harder than it needed to be for everyone concerned, patients and staff alike. Some trials fall into both categories. Shaun will talk about what makes a trial efficient and informative, as well as what can be done to try and avoid problems.
